Auction? There’s an Auction at Con on the Cob?
There certainly is. Do you have any games, toys, books, videos, t-shirts, little brothers, comics, or any other geeky sort of stuff of which you’d like to divest yourself in exchange for cold hard cash? If so, bring it to Con on the Cob and see what can be seen. Looking for some rare and hard-to-find relic of ancient nerdliness? Who knows, maybe you’ll find it.
This is a silent auction, which means all of the items will be laid out on tables and bidders will have the chance to outbid each other by writing their names and bids on the attached bid sheets. When the auction ends at 6:00pm on Saturday whoever has the highest bid wins the item.
You have Cynthia, Jonathan, and Biagia to thank for administering Con on the Cob's auction. They are treasures more valuable than any of the goods they represent, but don't tell them I said that. I don't want it to go to their heads.
Item drop-off occurs according to the schedule below. All you do is bring your jazz to the CotC Auctionarium (The hotel calls it the fitness room) at the times listed. Fill out a bit of paperwork and the auction team can get you checked in. Want to fill out your paperwork ahead of time? Click the bid sheet thumbnail at the bottom of the page. DO NOT fill in the Item number unless you have received the numbers from Cynthia. To receive your numbers email cynthiatuck@gmail.com.
There is no fee to submit items to the auction, but Con on the Cob retains __% of all sales to cover administrative costs and whatnot. Submissions are limited to 25 items per person and will be accepted until Noon on Saturday or until the room is full, whichever comes first.
Bidding will be happening throughout the weekend, whenever the Auctionarium is open. You will be able to pick up and pay for your goodies starting at 6:15 on Saturday. See hours below.
The Auctionarium is in the same spot as last year. You can find it downstairs off the Atrium across from the video arcade. Don’t miss it!

Rules and Policies of the Auction
Auction sellers may download bid sheets here and fill them out in advance or they may fill out bid sheets onsite.
Payouts are by check or by PayPal. If you choose to be paid by PayPal please allow up to two weeks after the end of Con on the Cob 2022 to receive your payment. Please have a PayPal email address ready when submitting items.
Con on the Cob retains 15% of all auction sales to cover administrative costs.
Sellers may submit as many items as desired. However, the auction staff reserves the right to limit the amount of entries per seller if things are getting too crowded. Please limit yourself to 25 or fewer items until Saturday morning.
