PETE PANZERI is a decorated combat veteran, award-winning author and wargame designer.
Pete’s books include KILLING BIN LADEN and he’s widely-known for LITTLE BIG HORN 1876: CUSTER’S LAST STAND, recipient of the Military Book club Award and "Order of the Indian Wars.”
Pete’s Wargame Publications include his award winning SANTA ANNA RULES, w/Buck Surdu; FRONTIERS-in-FLAMES, CRAZY HORSE RULES! & RANGER RULES!
Pete also received the HMGS "DUKE SEIFRIED GAME-MASTER-OF-THE-YEAR AWARD, and was inducted into the LEGION OF HONOR for the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society (HMGS).
Panzeri’s military experience includes 30 years of overseas deployments, service as an 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper and a Drill Sergeant; as well as Infantry Company & battalion command/staff assignments.
Pete’s military decorations include The Bronze Star, The Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Infantryman's “Order of Saint Maurice.”
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University, VA and completed graduate school in Military History at The Ohio State University. He was the Chief of Military History at the US Army Infantry School, Tactics Chief at the Military Intelligence School, and taught several years for the U.S. Military Academy, West Point-Prep.
Pete's currently in Florida — active at all HMGS & HMGS-South conventions — and — as always — working on several new wargame publications and HMGS convention events.
