WHO WE ARE

The RPG ALLIANCE began in 2018 and is a Grass Roots, Inclusive, Tabletop RPG Gaming Community that runs tabletop role playing game events using safety tools, like the X-Card, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and NOW online.

2022 finds us returning to our hybrid gaming convention format of two days ONLINE and one day IN-PERSON gaming at Dickens Pub in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Age Limit: The IN-Person age limit is +18 years old (legal drinking age), as our venue is a pub.

The On-line convention days welcomes younger players and the Game Runners will set age ranges and content warnings where necessary for their individual games.

KEY DATES

• October 1st: Game Submissions Open.

• October 28th: Early Access for Game Runners and VIG Badges.

• October 31st: Player Badge Sales Open.

• November 4th: Game Submissions Close.

• November 18th: Con Starts with ONLINE DAY FRIDAY!

• November 19th: Con ONLINE DAY SATURDAY.

• November 20th: CON IN-PERSON Day SUNDAY at DICKENS PUB, Calgary Canada.

PLAYER BADGES

100% of badge sales (excluding Tabletop.Events fees) will be donated to our CANADA HELPS Fundraising Charities!

• ONLINE only-> $5 USD +TTE fees.

• IN-PERSON in Calgary only-> $10 USD +TTE fees.

• IN-PERSON in Calgary only-> AT THE DOOR $20 CAD (CASH ONLY).

• ALL WEEKEND (both Online & In-person)-> $15 USD +TTE fees.

We follow our SAFE SPACE CODE OF CONDUCT listed under the ATTEND menu and use the X-Card as our default safety tool. Healthy Boundaries keep everyone safe, respected and having fun!

MEDIA PERMISSIONS

By entering and participating in the online events of the RPG Alliance Convention, participants give their permission to be photographed, or recorded by the convention and give their consent to their images and video being reproduced for subsequent use in the media, webcasts, internal and external promotional purposes, advertising and inclusion on websites and social media. Images are shared publicly with open access for use.

New Level's Story->

The Ross brothers decided to start their own brewery while attending Maryland Deathfest. In between deathmetal sets, they ended up spending a lot of time in their hotel room drinking boldly flavoured American craft beers: insanely bitter IPAS, unreal dessert stouts, and high gravity barley wines.

The beers were so unbelievably good, they thought to themselves:

“Why can’t we drink like this at home? Maybe we should just start a brewery that makes what we like to drink?”

In homage to their origins, the Ross boys pair their beers with metal sounding names and graphics. New Level Brewing bends the rules of the style guidelines to create bold beers that are just a bit different from what you may have had before. They may not obey the Rhineheitsgebot, but they refuse to compromise the quality of their beer or to release anything that they don’t love.
