Congratulations! After enrolling in a zero-down training course offered by the Pangalactic Corporation for members of all cultures, you’ve received your first mission. The government of Truane’s Star has subcontracted with Pangalactic to send a surveying mission to the newly charted Zebulon system.

Previously the government sent its own mission of specialists led by a famous military hero, Commander Louis V. Jameson. But the whole crew disappeared not long after entering the system.

With the budget Truane’s Star has left, they could only afford new, untested recruits. That’s you! And given the competition for non-battlefront missions, this was your chance to gain some experience, get paid, and maybe even rescue a famous figure while you’re at it. What could go wrong?
