The RPG ALLIANCE began in 2018 and is a Grass Roots, Inclusive, Tabletop RPG Gaming convention that runs tabletop role playing game events using safety tools, like the X-Card, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and NOW ONLINE too! We were founded by the Queer Questing & Allies TTRPG Calgary Meetup Group and welcome EVERYONE.

2023 finds us running our 6th annual convention with two days ONLINE – Friday & Saturday, Nov 17 & 18, and a one day IN-PERSON – Sunday, Nov 19, 2023, at our partner Dickens Pub in Calgary, Canada.

Age Limit: The IN-Person age limit is +18 years old (legal drinking age), as our venue is a pub.

The On-line convention days welcomes younger players and the Game Runners will set age ranges and content warnings where necessary for their individual games.

KEY DATES

• September 15th: Game/Event Submissions Open.

• October 15th: Game/Event Submissions Close.

• October 16th - 22nd: Early Access for Game Runners and VIG Badges. Social Pop-Up Scheduling Submissions Due (optional).

• October 23rd: Player Badge Sales Open.

• November 17th: Con Starts with ONLINE DAY FRIDAY!

• November 18th: Con ONLINE DAY SATURDAY.

• November 19th: CON IN-PERSON Day SUNDAY at DICKENS PUB, Calgary Canada.

PLAYER BADGES

• ONLINE only-> $5 USD +TTE fees.

• IN-PERSON in Calgary only-> $10 USD +TTE fees.

• IN-PERSON in Calgary only-> AT THE DOOR $20 CAD (CASH ONLY).

• ALL WEEKEND (both Online & In-person)-> $15 USD +TTE fees.

• COMMUNITY BADGE-> Complimentary FREE Badges for folks experiencing hard times, or Students and Veterans (Thank you for your service!). Just email us at rpgalliancecon@gmail.com and we will set you up!

BEWARE there are NO REFUNDS!

We follow our SAFE SPACE CODE OF CONDUCT listed under the ATTEND menu and use the X-Card as our default safety tool. Healthy Boundaries keep everyone safe, respected and having fun!

MEDIA PERMISSIONS

By entering and participating in the online and in-person events of the RPG Alliance Convention, participants give their permission to be photographed, or recorded by the convention and give their consent to their images and video being reproduced for subsequent use in the media, webcasts, internal and external promotional purposes, advertising and inclusion on websites and social media. Images are shared publicly with open access for use.
