Types of Badges

• Attendee Badge: $75. Regular adult badge. Those with ages 13-17 require emergency contact info
• Attendee - Military: $65. Recognition of Military members
• Gamers-in-Training - $55. Specifically for our younger attendees (age 4-12). Adult supervision is required and emergency contact info required on registration. At no time will BoardGameGeek or Team Geek take responsibility for your children - there is no babysitting service provided.
• Press Badge: $75. Name/link of media outlet required and printed on the badge. Includes access to the Exhibit Hall on Setup/Media Day (Thursday/early Friday).
• Exhibitor Badge: $75. Early access to the Exhibit Hall for booth setup and staffing.

Children - age 0-3 - no badge required, but MUST remain in the presence of parent(s)/authorized guardian(s). At no time will BoardGameGeek or Team Geek take responsibility for your children of any age - there is no babysitting service provided.

Badge vs. Ticket

• A badge is what gets you into the convention and all events are open to anyone that has a badge.
• A ticket is a seat at the table for specific game or event. This will generally be used for Attendee Scheduled Games, or events in which there is a limited seating (i.e. Poker Tournament).

Note that Tickets are free for all events at BGG conventions so even though the TTE system may say "Buy Tickets" in various places, it really means "reserve"/"get" - it won't cost you anything over or above the Badge purchase.

Badges/Tickets for friends You are allowed to purchase badges for you and your friends on your TTE account. Please review the Friend system for purchasing and giving badges and tickets to your friends.

Please note: If your friends do not have TTE accounts, you will need to "buy" any tickets for attendee scheduled games for them and they will not be able to sign up through the TTE system to volunteer in the library.

Badge Transfers

Badges are non-sharable. They are fully transferable via the Friend system. Please note the Badge Edit Deadline - May 10, 2022. Badges transferred to anyone after this deadline, will NOT have the badge name printed correctly.

Day-Passes

No Day-Pass badges are available. The registration fee is the same whether you come for one day or the whole convention.

Badge Waiting List

Because badges can become available at anytime from refunds we will no longer manage an official waitlist.

Tickets Required/Optional

Badges are required to enter the convention, play in the open gaming area, borrow games from the BGG Library, visit the Exhibit Hall. Tickets are only required for reserving your seat at the table for specific games or events with limited seating.

Event Designations

• "Public" if anyone is welcome to sign up for it.
• "Private" event is for a game that has been organized directly through some other means (Geeklist, local gaming group, etc.). You should only get a Ticket for a "Private" event if you were involved in organizing it or have been authorized by the host.
• "Age Range" - Check the age range for the event before signing up
• "Experience Level" - Check the the experience level requirement before signing up

Ticket Waitlist/Notification List

Everyone on the waitlist for an event will be notified via email when a Ticket becomes available for the event. There is no ordering/priority or automatic granting of tickets. This feature would probably be better described as a "notification list".

Refunds

Refunds for badges purchased on TTE can be refunded the full amount minus any associated fees (payment processing and TTE support) up until May 10th. See HERE for refund instructions if you purchased your BGG.Spring badge directly on TTE (i.e. after February 15, 2022). Because badges can become available at anytime due to refunds we will no longer manage an official waitlist.

BGG.Spring 2020 badge holders

If you previously bought a ticket for BGG.Spring 2020, your badge has been rolled over to attend BGG.Spring 2022. In that rollover process you should have received an email with your TTE badge information and you may receive an additional email requesting you to complete the setup of your TTE account, if you did not have one or if the email address on attached to your badge(s) does not match your current TTE account. (If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam folder or alternate email addresses, or contact events@boardgamegeek.com.
