If you purchased badges for someone else you will have to follow this procedure and use the GIVE option to give them the badge you purchased for them. Until you do this they will not be able to sign up for games on their own. They will need to have their own Tabletop Event account. Then you can FRIEND them and use the GIVE feature to give them their badge.
