We here at Con on the Cob are proud to offer a wide range of vending opportunities. I'm not sure what else to put in this introductory section, since most of your questions will be answered below, but I've assigned myself an arbitrary word count in order to convince myself I'm decent at my job. Con on the Cob's vendor hall is, in actuality, Oddmall: The Mother of All Marketplaces! Like all Oddmall shows, The Mother of All Marketplaces is FREE TO THE PUBLIC, which means peeps don't need a CotC convention badge in order to shop with us. The Mother of All Marketplaces at Con on the Cob offers a wide range of booth options for artists, vendors, and exhibitors of all kinds. For more information and to reserve your space, please visit the official Oddmall: The Mother of All Marketplaces webpage.
BOOTH PRICES
- Yellow (3’x8′): $120
- Purple (6’x8′): $200
- Green (6’x12′): $300
- Tattoo Parlor / Private Shop (10’x15′): $600 (only one available)
- Ancillary Booth* (3'x8'): $100
- Food Truck (10'x30'): $180
*Ancillary booths are 3'x8' booths (a table and a chair)setup throughout the hotel. Ancillary vendors may set their own hours and should be aware these spots do not lock up securely each night.
Each vendor booth includes one all-of-the-days Con on the Cob registration badge, although the registration form allows vendors to purchase additional badges for just $30. Badges are not required within the vendor hall, although they do allow access to all of the other super snazzy snazz Con on the Cob has to offer.
Vendor and Food truck spots may be purchased using the Oddmall Vendor Registration form.
VENDOR HALL HOURS OF OPERATION
Thursday: 9am-2pm (vendor setup)
Thursday: 2pm-8pm (open to the public)
Friday: 8am-10am (vendor setup)
Friday: 10am-8pm
Saturday: 10am-8pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm
Food trucks and ancillary booths may continue to operate outside of vendor hall hours at the discretion of the proprietor.
Con on the Cob is host to up to ten Food Trucks, which reside outside in the parking lot, easily accessible from both the Atrium and The Mother of All Marketplaces. Please visit the official Oddmall: The Mother of All Marketplaces website for more of the lowdown on the what's what and the dirt on the cheese (or whatever the cool kids say nowadays). Vendor and Food truck spots may be purchased using the Oddmall Vendor Registration form.
Food truck operators are responsible for providing their own electricity and water, should such things be necessary, and must be properly licensed to operate in the state of Ohio and Summit County.
Precooked or premade food items may be sold from a normal vendor booth, if preferred, but must be packaged and presented in accordance with Ohio's Cottage Food laws.
Game designers and publishers are invited to host demonstrations of their existing and upcoming endeavors at Con on the Cob. However, in order to be fair to all of the vendors, anyone selling items must purchase a vendor booth or ancillary booth for the show. Several ancillary booths are available in the Atrium right by where most of the games happen, so they make a great headquarters to store and display your products.
Whether or not you are selling anything, you may reserve table space for game demonstrations by entering your games into the system using the Submit Events link. Of course, you may also host demonstrations at your booth instead or as well.
Con on the Cob is overwhelmingly enthused to play host to an assortment of tattoo artists and body piercing specialists for all your jazz-yoself-up needs and desires. Our guy Alex from The Tattoo Shop will be lurking near the steps that go down to the Atrium (or up from the Atrium, depending on where you're headed) and other tattoo artists may rent booth space in the vendor hall just like any other vendor. The Tattoo Parlor / Private Shop space near the vendor hall may be nabbed for such use as well (provided it is still available).
Anybody performing tattoo artistry or body modification must be properly licensed and is subject to inspection by the Summit County Board of Health.
