Con on the Cob is so chock full of games they are literally running out our wazoo (figuratively speaking, of course). There are role-playing games of all types, board games, miniature games, card games, party games, artsy games, live action games, and just about any other sort of game you can imagine. We have scheduled games, game tournaments, open games, and tons of special gaming events and gatherings. It's an overflowing caldera of primordial gaming lava - a veritable and unverifiable suppurating scab of raw, oozing (yet only mildly contagious) gaming funk.

Adding your own games and events to the schedule is as simple as clicking this link and filling out the incredibly complicated and obnoxiously convoluted form you'll find when you do so. I don't know why I said that. It is neither obnoxiously complicated nor incredibly convoluted. Just click the New Submission button and continue from there, my darling.
Game designers and publishers are invited to host demonstrations of their existing and upcoming endeavors at Con on the Cob. However, in order to be fair to all of the vendors, anyone selling items must purchase a vendor booth or ancillary booth for the show. Several ancillary booths are available in the Atrium right by where most of the games happen, so they make a great headquarters to store and display your products.
Whether or not you are selling anything, you may reserve table space for game demonstrations by entering your games into the system using the Submit Events link.
Do you want some free games to take home with you? I thought you might. One way to do that is to just steal a bunch of games when nobody's looking. Sadly, that sort of thing is generally frowned upon, which is why we've implemented this fantastic PLAY TO WIN program. Here's how it works:
Step One: Play a game with your friends or perhaps some strangers - tournament style. Step Two: Win the tournament. Step Three: Keep the game. It's yours now.

Similarly, signing up to play in a game or attend an event is a matter as simple as wrangling a cat on a hot tin rocking chair in a room full of witch's nipples. Actually, it's way easier than that. Just click the Events Schedule link in the Attend tab and you'll see a schedule that holds all of the events that have been submitted and approved so far. You can search this schedule by event type and keywords. Click on the events you want to learn more about and then click the Get Ticket button to, uh... get a ticket. There aren't any actual physical tickets, just digital ones that hold your spot at the table.
Most games and events are free, although we still recommend you get a ticket in order to ensure your space is reserved and so you can easily view your schedule at any time using the My Schedule link in the Attend tab.
In what can only be described as some sort of mystical valet service or diabolical witchcraft the technology exists, once you've signed up for an event or seventeen, to view your personal schedule by clicking this link.
We have dozens of awesome games just kind of sitting around waiting for you play them. The Games Library is located in The Atrium, near Gaming HQ. In order to check out a game you must surrender a valid ID, which will be returned to you upon return of the game. Games may be taken to the Con Suite or anywhere else in the hotel. Check with Gaming HQ to find a free table nearby.
Guess what? The Gameteria and the gaming tables in the Atrium will be open Wednesday evening starting at 7:30pm as a special treat to those of us who get to Con on the Cob a day early. An assortment of other Wednesday night treats await us as well, although those things will be a bit more spontaneous in nature - developing organically as the night proceeds.
Who among us is an old and crusty gamer from back in the day? Who among us isn't one of those but wants to pretend otherwise? Well then, this event is the jelly to your peanut butter! It's a day dedicated to old-school games and jazz of that nature.
Of course, all games are welcome to be played on Thursday but let's throw a special little nod of respect at the diversions of our ancestors. Here Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition and even earlier iterations shine! Break out the Boot Hill! Treat yoself to a bit of the ol' Bunnies and Burrows! Add a little Runequest to your day! Open wide and let the Traveller in! Embrace some Gamma World or maybe some Champions, why not? Who's up for Call of Cthulhu? Star Wars...
Anyway, it's a thing and you can participate if you want to but you don't have to. I'm not your dad (unless you are one or both of two people in particular or you are speaking in a figurative sense).
Coins on the Cob are a special kind of currency awarded to those of us who host games at Con on the Cob (and submit their games to the schedule before the August 1, 2026 deadline). You earn one COIN ON THE COB for each registered player in attendance for any of your events that actually run (maximum of five coins per event). COINS ON THE COB can be used to purchase anything in the Mother of All Marketplaces, the Artitorium, the CotC Souvenirium, the Food Trucks, or the CotC Registration Desk. This means you can use them toward next year's badge if you want and potentially earn a free badge. Ask for your COINS ON THE COB at Gaming HQ at the start of each game.
