Theme: Strategic, political, and calculated, inspired by the scheming and alliances of Season 6 (e.g., Daenerys’s conquests, Cersei’s plotting). Scenarios focus on objectives, maneuvering, and non-combat units (NCUs), reflecting the cerebral nature of Westerosi politics.
Schedule (Saturday)
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Check-in and army list submission.
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Round 1.
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch break.

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Break.

Selected to emphasize strategy and control:
A Game of Thrones: Armies fight to claim various Objectives across the battlefield, each granting a unique power.
The Winds of Winter: Both armies take to the battlefield to complete secret missions, hidden from their opponents.
A Dance with Dragons: Units pick up and contest three key objectives across the battlefield.
Narrative Flair: Players receive a handout casting them as scheming lords vying for the Iron Throne, with flavor text encouraging clever use of NCUs and objectives.
Special Rule: “Court Intrigue” – Once per game, a player can re-roll during an NCU activation. This re-roll may be applied to ANY roll associated to that activation. Court Intrigue reflects political or strategic maneuvering (must be declared before resolving the action). Re-rolls follow the rules as given on p. 22 of the Season 6 Rules.
Court Intrigue NCU zones:
CROWN: May use the re-roll for the enemies Panic Test.
WEALTH: No applicable re-roll.
TACTICS: No applicable re-roll.
COMBAT: May use the re-roll for the free Attack action.
MANEUVER: May use the re-roll for the free Maneuver or Retreat if applicable.
Special: If the NCU has an ability that is triggered when claiming a zone that involves a die roll, the re-roll may be used for that roll. Additionally, if a Tactics card is used during that NCU's activation that provides a die roll, then the re-roll may be used for that.
Intent: this provides a one-use only free re-roll that may only be used or triggered when an NCU claims a zone, once per battle. Judges have final say on applicability if necessary.
