It is possible to submit three types of event to the Draconis festival in person: a tabletop role-playing game, a live-action role-playing game, or a panel.
To submit an event, navigate the menus to Host > Submissions > New Submission, select an event type from the menu, and fill out the form.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, if you'd like to run an RPG at the Draconis Festival, we invite you to submit a game - or even multiple games!
Fill out one form per game.
In the form, you can choose the date, starting time, and duration of your game, but to keep a uniform programming throughout the festival, we reserve the right to modify the date and starting time. Please let us know what periods you won't be available at the end of the form. From September 13th to 18th, before game registration, you will be invited to review and validate the final schedule.
Write an engaging scenario description - this is your chance to draw in players!
If you are a beginner GM, select Yes to the question Is this an Academy game? to indicate to your players that you'd like feedback after the game.
For more information on how to be a GM at the Draconis Festival, we invite you to read A Short Guide to Being a Great Game Master on our website.
Since its beginning, Live Action Role Playing games (LARPs) have been an important part of the Draconis Festival. They are always popular, attracting players who aren’t even there for live action games! Therefore, if you are interested in preparing such a game, we invite you to submit an event of this type, but more importantly, to please contact us at info@festivaldraconis.ca.
We accept games of up to 30 people.
We will provide a dedicated space that is isolated from the rest of the festival, so that the game can be played in peace.
Since there is only one room for LARPs, time slots are limited so contact us as soon as possible!
As always, the festival will present a series of panels on a variety of themes relating to roleplaying games. If you would like to organize a discussion, a presentation, or a podcast episode, we invite you to submit a panel to the festival by contacting us directly at panel@festivaldraconis.ca, and not through Tabletop Events.
Panels will be recorded and posted on our YouTube channel after the festival.
Since we only have one panel room, the number of panels we can host is limited. Please contact us as soon as possible.
Submitting an event to the Draconis Festival comes with benefits in the form of dracodollars! For more information, read the Dracodollars program on our website.
