Defenders of Wessex is a fully cooperative board game set in the year 876. Players must work together to defend Wessex from the invading vikings by recruiting soldiers to fight, collecting tribute to bribe the invaders, and most importantly constructing the walls and defenses of the country to withstand the tide of invading enemies!
