THE CON OFF THE COB ART SHOW

Here's a fantastic place to check out some really cool artwork and maybe nab yourself a few goodies with which to decorate your cave, manse, apartment, mom's basement, bathroom, house, home, dwelling, domicile, little brother, or skateboard. Just visit the Con OFF the Cob Discord server and click on the individual artist channels within the ART SHOW category. It's the third easiest thing in the world, next to riding a bike and your mom (burn!).

Visitors can interact with artists, either by text or video, peruse galleries, buy art, watch demos, participate in events, and otherwise get their funky art groove moving.

All art is welcome, although NSFW stuff must be marked as such. The emphasis is on art related to gaming, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, roller coasters, and general weirdness and geekiness, although we welcome any artist of any genre to with open virtual arms.

HOW TO NAB AN ART SHOW SPOT

NEW THIS YEAR- All Art Show transactions, including purchasing spot fees and channel creation, will take place in the Discord server. We will not be using Tabletop.events to process these transactions. This does NOT apply to Con ON the Cob - transactions for that convention will continue to be processed on Tabletop.events.

Participation in the Con OFF the Cob Art Show is simplicity itself. Simply follow the steps below to begin your artist journey.

  1. Join the Discord.
  2. Follow the Get Started guide steps.
  3. Click on Server Shop at the top of the server, underneath Channels and Roles.
  4. Purchase your $4.99 Artist Badge. NOTE- You do not need to purchase both an artist badge and a vendor badge to sell your artwork or take commissions. Purchasing only the artist badge will allow you to do such activities.
  5. Read the Art Show Information guide by clicking on Server Guide at the top of the server - this will tell you how to set up your own artist channel.

From there, you will be able to moderate the channel, post an unlimited number of images, interact with fans and visitors, sell your jazz, take commissions, and basically curate your own online artist booth. You can also perform live demonstrations in the Art Show Stage channel after scheduling the demonstration as an event.
