1. Assumption of Risk:
The Exhibitor acknowledges that the San Luis Valley Tabletop Gaming Convention and its organizers, operating under Fable Light Creations, do not maintain insurance covering the Exhibitor’s property. It is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain business interruption, property damage, and liability insurance to cover its display, products, and staff during the event.
2. Indemnification:
The Exhibitor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fable Light Creations, the Quality Inn (Alamosa), and their respective officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, suits, or liabilities—including attorney fees—arising out of or in connection with:
3. Limitation of Liability:
Under no circumstances shall the convention organizers be liable for any lost profits, theft, or incidental/consequential damages. The organizers will provide general venue security, but the Exhibitor remains responsible for the safety of its own materials at all times, including during setup, show hours, and teardown.
4. Damage to Venue:
The Exhibitor is liable for any damage caused to the venue floors, walls, or equipment (e.g., the Quality Inn Ballroom fixtures) by the Exhibitor’s staff or equipment. No adhesive tapes or fasteners that leave a permanent residue or damage may be used on hotel property.
1. Product Relevance:
To maintain the spirit and focus of the San Luis Valley Tabletop Gaming Convention, all items displayed or offered for sale must be directly related to tabletop gaming, geek culture, or the creative arts. This includes, but is not limited to:
2. Review and Approval:
The organizers, operating under Fable Light Creations, reserve the right to determine the suitability of any product. If an item is deemed outside the scope of the convention's theme or is found to be in violation of community standards, the Exhibitor may be asked to remove the specific item from their table.
3. Prohibited Items:
General retail goods or services that bear no connection to gaming or the "nerd culture" community are prohibited unless prior written exception has been granted by the convention organizers. This ensures a curated experience for our attendees and a fair marketplace for our specialized vendors.
Booths must remain fully set up and "open for business" throughout the duration of these hours. Exhibitors may not begin dismantling their display, packing materials, or vacating their space before the official close of the event at 6:00 PM on the final day. Show hours are from 9 am-6 pm.
