Booths and Vendor Space
Vendors should use the table assigned to them at registration unless the change is made by a Rolling Thunder Gamefest (RTG) staff member.
Booth space is 10 ft wide by 10 feet deep. Each space has access to one standard wall outlet. Vendors must supply any extension cords and power strips.
All extension cords must be grounded. Any power strips need to be UL listed. A standard power strip is UL 1363 and a power strip with surge protection is UL 1449
No open flames or hazardous fumes.
One 8’ foot table and two chairs is standard. Any additional requests must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event.
Tablecloths are not provided.
Vendors are responsible for set up and packing their own materials and supplies.
Vendors may park in Circle Drive for loading and unloading only. Parking is available at the Holman Sports Center parking lot. All vehicles should be moved to the parking lot by the start of the vending hours.
Walking areas need to remain unobstructed. This means the area in front of the booth extending to the wall. No seating or displays should be in this area.
Vendor hours are 10am to 6pm
Friendship Hall will be locked outside of Vendor Hall hours; make sure to remove any items you may need overnight.
Booth space rental comes with two Vendor Badges.
Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors should leave the space clean when they leave. All trash should be picked up and thrown away, all professional and personal items should be removed.
Vendors are responsible for insuring their own materials and products
Cancellations made at least 30 days before RTG will receive a full refund. Cancellations made two weeks before the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than two weeks before the event are not eligible for a refund.
RTG is not involved in guest and vendor transactions. Vendors are responsible for city, county, and state taxes.
Vendors are responsible for complying with McPherson College policies and all city, county, state, and federal law.
Products
No weapons may be sold. This includes any item with a sharp blade or that could be confused for a real weapon.
Nothing promoting hate speech of any kind may be sold. Hate speech is defined by in the McPherson College Student handbook found here: https://www.mcpherson.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/2526StudentHandbook.pdf
Items and art should be the product of the vendor or a contracted third party.
No materials produced by generative AI are allowed. If there is a dispute about a piece of art, then a panel of three McPherson art majors and one faculty member will make the final decision.
Our event is open to all ages. No sexually explicit material, meaning no visible genitalia or nipples.
Vendors may not sell anything prohibited by the city of McPherson or the state of Kansas.
