Omaha Gaming Convention returns for its second year with more room to play, more opportunities to connect, and the welcoming spirit that made our first gathering so special. Presented by Our Family Plays Games, OGC brings people together through the joy of board gaming and we’re excited to welcome you to our growing community.

Whether your shelves are overflowing with games or you’re just discovering what makes this hobby so much fun, there’s a place for you here. Come with family, bring your gaming group, or arrive ready to meet new people!

More to Explore in 2027

We’re moving to the Embassy Suites Omaha Downtown Old Market, giving OGC more space for the games, people, and experiences that make a convention weekend worth the trip.

• More Gaming space: With a much larger hall than in 2026, you're bound to have more space and table options!

• Game Library of over 1,500 board games: Discover something new or revisit a favorite game with an expansive library powered by the Board Game Wagon.

• Expanded vendor area: Browse games, accessories, and other unique items from local vendors!

• Gamer's Market: Bring your own games or accessories to sell-- or get ready to buy from other attendees! Might snag something rare?

• Panels and Events: Join conversations and activities that celebrate the hobby and its community. A full list of Panels & Events coming soon, but it will also include the 1st Annual OFPG Honors Game Awards. Be sure to get your tickets when seating is made available!

• Expanded Omaha City Tour on July 8: Arrive a day early (July 8th, 2027) and explore Omaha with fellow attendees for a nearly 4 hour long tour of the city, and visit various iconic Omaha stops!

A Community Where You Belong

At OGC, we believe the board gaming community grows stronger when more people feel welcome to join it. We’re building a convention where people of different backgrounds, identities, and experience levels can connect, share their enthusiasm, and feel valued.

For us, that means welcoming first-time attendees, making room for new voices, and encouraging kindness and respect at every table. Whether you’re learning your first game or teaching a longtime favorite, you help make OGC what it is.

Make It a Gaming Getaway

Join the expanded Omaha City Tour on Thursday, July 8, then spend July 9–11 enjoying games and community. Bring the family, gather your friends, and make OGC part of your summer vacation.

Be Part of Year Two

To everyone who helped make our first year special: thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you back. If this will be your first OGC, we’re excited to meet you and share what we’re building.

2026 was a great start, but we think in 2027, Omaha Gaming Convention is going to soar to new heights!
