CONVENTION POLICIES

Badges are required. If you need your badge replaced please see Registration. A fee of $2 may be charged to replace these items. Note that you may not have a printed badge with your name on it if your badge is lost or damaged.
Children should be accompanied by an adult at this convention. Disruptive children will be returned to their parents or guardians. See the Kids Policy for more details.
Day badges are available in limited quantities.
Refunds are available until ???, 2024. Click here for more information on refunds.
You may check out one game per participant with a badge at our Game Library. You will need to exchange an ID for the checked out game. You will get your ID back once the game is returned.
Unsolicited distribution of any printed material is not allowed. Attendees doing so may have their badge revoked and be removed from the convention.

Please review these NGC convention policies. All badge holders and participants agree to abide by these policies. You will need to click “I agree” to these terms when buying a badge.

EXPECTATIONS

Come ready to hang out with friends, make new friends, and have fun!

Please be kind and respectful of others.

Please treat board games checked out at the game library with respect, reset the game as you found it, and make sure you return the game in good condition.

When you start a game, expect to stay until it is finished.

Dress code for the event would be similar to what are commonly accepted practices in public or in school. For full details see our Code of Conduct.

Remember to take breaks to eat food, grab some snacks, and drink liquids. A water station is available in the main hall, near the restrooms, for your convenience.

By entering the Newberg Game Con (NGC) Venue you agree to allow us to use your image, video, and audio to highlight the event and promote the event in the future. For full details see our Notice of Filming & Photography.

Harassment or bullying of any kind is not tolerated. For full details see our Harassment Policy. Compliance is expected with requests to stop behavior that is not tolerated. Disruptive participants may be asked to leave without a refund.

Outside food is allowed on the premises. Please clean up after yourself.
There is no alcohol allowed in the venue or on the property.
There is no smoking or vaping in the venue or on the property.
Animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of registered service animals.
