Where's the Hotel Block?
We understand that many conventions offer one or more hotel blocks for attendees with pre-negotiated group rates. However, during our research and planning, it became clear that hotel blocks represent the largest financial risk for a small convention in its first year. So, for this first year there is no traditional hotel block. In future years, when we have better insight into how many attendees are local vs folks traveling in, we will re-evaluate the option of entering into a negotiated room-block.
