Gem City Gathering

One of the best things about traveling to a gaming convention is checking out the game stores in the local area. Dayton is blessed with a plethora of gaming, hobby, and card shops. Here are a few of our favorites that we think are worth a visit while you're in town.

Epic Loot Games - 9130 Dayton Lebanon Pike, Centerville, OH 45458

The area's largest game store and the one with the deepest board game selection. Also has a huge selection of TCGs, Miniatures Games, and RPGs. Pro Tip: You'll pass Bill's donuts on the way to Epic Loot. Plan an extra stop, you won't regret it. EL.jpg

Dragon's Guildhall - 2078 E Dorothy Ln, Dayton, OH 45420

The store is settling in to it's new larger location and is a great spot for gamers of all stripes. They have a very solid board game section and their Sunday gaming group is an awesome social group for local board gamers. DGH.jpg

Bookery Games - 15 W Main St, Fairborn, OH 45324

Located in downtown Fairborn, it's one of the oldest game stores in the greater Dayton area. In addition to new items, they have a great second hand section that gets new items on a regular basis. In October Fairborn is a site to be seen for it's annual Halloween festivities and decorations that take over the downtown. BG.jpg

Since some folks are flying into Cincinnati and Columbus we wanted to give a shout out to our favorite store in those cities as well!

Cincinnati

Capstone Games Store - 2 Techview Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45215

This store is connected to Capstone's distribution warehouse and always has a phenomenal selection of new board games. If you're looking for the new hotness this is a great place to check! CSG.jpg

Columbus

Round Table Games - 6185 Shamrock Ct B, Dublin, OH 43016

Hand's down one of the nicest game stores I've ever been to. They have an insanely deep stock of Board Games, Miniatures, and RPGs. Additionally they have two very friendly store kitties that would love to meet you. RTG.jpg
