Gem City Gathering

Who Are We?

The Gem City Gathering is a small board game focused convention located in Dayton, Ohio.

Our goal is to provide a fun and relaxed environment where board gamers can come together, make new friends, and play games.

What to Expect

• Tons of open gaming & a top-notch game library.
• Dedicated social deduction rooms featuring Blood on the Clocktower, Werewolf, and other favorites.
• Dedicated escape-room game room
• Board Game Bazaar where you can find your next favorite game or sign-up to sell and find new homes for some of your collection.
• Discover Dayton: Daily outings to local breweries, bars, coffee shops and restaurants where a convention volunteer will head up field trips throughout downtown Dayton to show off what the city has to offer (with a case or two of games so you'll be ready to play off-site).
• Retro A/V game room featuring a host of the best VHS/DVD games ever created from Atmosfear to Dragon Strike!
• Welcome goodies and games for every attendee.

Library

The Gem City Gathering's library will consist of over 1500 games and promises to have something for everyone, whether you're a fan of crunchy euros or prefer something of the more Ameritrash variety.

Badges

We offer a single 5-day badge option that gets you access to everything the convention has to offer. While we understand that gaming is often a family affair, The Gem City Gathering is an adults-only convention and all attendees must be 18+ in order to participate.

Food and Drink

You are welcome to bring in outside food and beverages, we just ask that you limit yourself to light, game-friendly snacks (No Cheetos) and drinks with lids while gaming. There will be designated tables at the venue for eating more hearty fare.
