Health Policy

To ensure the safety of all at Gamicon, we will be utilizing the following health guidelines:

1. Although this year, we will not require masks for Gamicon in general; any GM/Judge may require masks at a specific event.
2. We strongly encourage social distancing, in accordance with current guidelines.
3. We will not be requiring proof of vaccination, or negative covid tests.
4. There will be hand sanitizer available at registration, volunteers, and gaming areas.
5. We will have a limited number of disposable masks available for staff and attendees if requested.

Please be respectful of other attendees. If you feel sick, please do not come to the convention, and contact info@gamicon.org to see about the possibility of forwarding your membership to next year.

Harrassment Policy

The staff of Gamicon would like everyone to know that we are dedicated to creating an open, accepting, and safe place for all gamers. We prohibit discrimination/harrassment on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or associational preferences.

Photo and Video Release

By purchasing a Gamicon membership and attending the convention, you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Gamicon, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news, and advertising.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video, or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for the use of such record media.

By participating in this event, you understand that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
