We will be suspending registration on Thursday, February 20th to allow us time to print the badges. After February 20th, you will be able to register at the convention. Both weekend and daily rates will be available at the door.

EVENT SIGN UPS ARE OPEN

We have over 200 scheduled events that still have tickets available! All tickets are free, but do remember once you have selected them, and put them in your cart, to CHECK OUT (for free) or the tickets will show in your schedule for 24-48 hours, then will revert back to being available. Tickets sales will suspend on February 20, 2025. Sign up for remaining spots will be available at the con.

BIG NEWS from our Guest of Honor, Scott Brady

It's official! Scott's fourth game, Better Letters, is now available! You can find it at your friendly local game store, Barnes & Noble in the Spring, at conventions, and direct from Play to Z Games on their website! We hope you enjoy it!

The Hotel Block Is ALMOST FULL!

The hotel is fully booked on Thursday, February 27, and we only have King rooms available for Friday and Saturday. Click on the link at the bottom right of this page, or HERE to reserve your room! When you follow the link, be sure to change the dates to Friday & Saturday (removing Thursday) or it will tell you that there are none available.

Event Submissions!

The deadline for submitting events to get into the program book has passes. You may still submit events, however, they will only be listed on the website. Once you have purchased your badge, you may click on the "Host" tab and select "Submissions" to submit your events. View scheduled events under "Attend" and select "Event Schedule". Events will be open for sign-ups to benefactor members starting on February 1, 2025 and for all attendees starting on February 8, 2025. Event sign-ups will close on February 23rd. After the 23rd you will sign up for events at the convention.

We have decided on our Charities for 2025

We have decided on HACAP and Last Hope Animal Rescue. There will be lots of opportunities for you to help out these great organizations. Look under the "Attend" tab and select "Charities" to find out how you can give your support. We will be updating more as we get closer to the con, so make sure to check back often!

ABOUT GAMICON

Gamicon is an annual gaming convention held in Eastern Iowa for over 30 years. We have numerous Board, Card, and Roleplaying games over the course of three days and also feature a Game Library, Play-to-Win Games, computer and video gaming and a Live Game Auction. We have exciting news! We have outgrown our space in Cedar Rapids, so are moving to the Coralville Hyatt in the Iowa River Landing, right off I-80! We have also switched weekends, so make sure to mark your calendar accordingly.
