Food Options at the convention
The hotel has informed us that a breakfast buffet will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00am-10:30am. The price is $14.00 per person. The Lounge will be open on Friday and Saturday evening - Food from 5pm-10pm and the bar from 5pm-11pm. The hotel asks that the dining tables not be used for gaming.
Marco's Grilled Cheese food cart will be onsite on Saturday from 10am-6pm just outside the Rosewood room. Please note that the only places to eat food purchased from Marcos is in the Rosewood room, or in your hotel room.
No outside food is allowed in any other convention spaces
You may have food delivered from local restaurants, but again, the only places you will be allowed to have this food is in the Rosewood room, or in your hotel room.
Please be respectful of the hotel spaces, and for the games being played and keep food and drink away from areas where it doesn't belong.

Pre-Registration, Event registration, and merch sales for Gamicon Arsenic are closed. You will be able purchase registrations, tickets, and merchandise (limited availabilty) on-site at the convention.

EVENT REGISTRATION IS COMING!
Watch your emails notifying you when you may sign up for events. Benefactor members will be able to sign up for events starting February 1st. All other attendees will be able to sign up for events starting February 8th.
Tabletop events has set the default for most users to their "username", which in some cases is your email. Once you have logged in, please click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the page. On the right side menu, choose "Preferences and settings" (It may ask to you verify that you are you by sending you an email). Then under preferences you will see "Which would you like to be displayed on the site?" Please choose your "Real Name". This will make sign up for events much easier for everyone.

GUEST OF HONOR
Gamicon is delighted to announce our guest of honor this year is Nat Barmore. Nat is Co-designer of the Horror RPG Dread, which several of our GMs have run throughout the years. Dread is the 2006 ENNIE award winner for most innovative Game and features the unique mechanic of pulling blocks from a Jenga tower to resolve conflicts. Nat also worked on the Pulp adventure RPG Four Colors Al Fresco and runs the RPG publishing company The Impossible Dream. HOTEL UPDATE
As you may know, the Cedar Rapids Marriott was recently put up for sale. The hotel is now the "Radisson Hotel Cedar Rapids" and we have been assured by the hotel that our contract will be honored. Quoted directly from their General Manager, "If you have a contract for event space and catering, there is no change. The hotel will service your event on the same terms and conditions."
For Hotel reservations, we request that you wait until July or later to make your reservations. Your hotel reservations should automatically transfer to the new reservations system and you will be issued a new reservation number." We will be given a link for new reservations once the rollover has happened and will share that for you here as soon as we receive it.
Gamicon is an annual gaming convention held in Eastern Iowa for over 30 years. We have numerous Board, Card, and Roleplaying games over the course of three days and also feature a Game Library, Play-to-Win Games and a Live Game Auction.
