The first stop for all concerns should be the Registration Desk. It will be staffed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am until 8pm. After 8pm and all day on Sunday there will be a placard there with information about how to contact one of the organizers. At least one organizer will be 'on duty' and available to respond during all the daily con hours. The Lost and Found will also be at the registration desk.
Part of what makes these conventions so much fun is seeing and playing the games that everyone brings. We will have reserved tables around the perimeter of the ballroom for folks to bring some games to share. You will get a name card with your badge that you can tape onto the table in front of your games to let everyone know who they belong to. The ballroom will be locked each evening at 11pm so you can leave your games in there overnight if you wish. Make sure any games you bring to share has your name and phone number somewhere in or on the game! And of course, please be respectful of other people's games when you borrow them to take care of the components and return it promptly after you play it. Also, we have a geeklist on BGG where folks can see what others are sharing and list what they plan to bring.
There will be an Announcements whiteboard by the registration desk. Please check it whenever you are passing by. Most notably this is where door-prize winners will be posted periodically throughout each day.
We will be drawing winners for door prizes all throughout the con. On Thursday and Friday we will be giving away gift certificates to local restaurants. Check the Announcements Board by the registration desk whenever you are passing by to see if you won. On Saturday evening we will be drawing our door prizes of games - there are loads of great games so make sure you are in the ballroom at 9pm on Saturday night for all the different drawings.
Hey, what are these smiley-face stickers I got with my badge?
This is for a special raffle drawing which will be held on the evening of Saturday the 22nd. The goal is to fill your index card with one sticker of each of 10 (ten) colors. Make sure you get a sticker from each person you play with that has a sticker color you don't have yet and put it on your card!
Bring your card to the registration desk after you have collected one of each color sticker (10). We will take your card and give you your raffle ticket! You must be present at the time of drawing to win.
All games in the play-to-win library will be won by an attendee! Visit the table, choose a game to play, then grab a table and some players. Return the game after you play, then write the name of each person that played on the play-to-win sheet for that game. The winner of each game will be announced at 9pm on Saturday the 22nd. One entry per person per game, must be present to win.
Hey, what is this random little rubber chicken I found at my table today?
There are hundreds of little chickens hidden around the game areas. For every five (5) chickens you find and bring to the registration desk, you will get an entry into the chicken hunt drawing. A golden chicken is worth 5 chickens all by itself! The winner of a fun basket of chicken-themed gifts will be drawn at 9pm on Saturday evening. You must be present at the time of the drawing to win.
