Prototype Alley is reserved specifically for FallCon attendees who are playtesting unpublished game designs.
In order to secure a timeslot and promote their game to attendees prior to the Con, we recommend that all prototypers who wish to playtest their designs at FallCon31 submit events to be listed in the Event Schedule. |
Drop ins will only be accommodated if time and space is available. |
When creating an event, please ensure that you select “Prototype” as the event type.
Please complete ALL required fields in the event submission form.
All submitted events will be subject to approval.
Space: Each table space (either 4’ round or 6’ x 30” rectangular) seats 6 people. A maximum of 2 round tables or 3 rectangular tables are available per event.
Event Duration: We recommend that events are between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours long, but no longer than 2 hours. Please keep in mind that you are expected to be have your area tidy 10 minutes before the time your event ends, in order to allow for the next prototyper to set up.
Preferred and Alternate Start times: Please make sure these are two different times, even if they are only 30 minutes apart. Every attempt will be made to schedule your event at one of these times but we cannot guarantee it. Prototype Alley is open one hour after the Convention opens and closes at 11pm, each day.
Hosts: The person submitting the event is listed as the host of the event, and as such will be required to create a Tabletop.Events account. Other hosts can be assigned upon request but they must have a Tabletop.Event account.
Badges: Please ensure that you (and any of your other hosts) buy a badge that corresponds to the day you are hosting your event, if you are not buying a weekend pass. You do not need to buy your badge before you submit your event. You do need to buy your badge in order to be at the Convention.
