Q: What is included with my designer ticket? ​

A: Designer tickets will include:

• Entry into the convention
• Registration for one (1) game to have playtested 
• 2 Tickets for the door prize drawing 
• A badge holder lanyard
• Promotional Pen
• A $10 Coolstuffinc gift card (only if ticket bought before 02/01/2018) ​

Q: When is the last day to buy a designer tickets? ​

A: Designer (Early Bird) tickets will be available 10/30/2017 - 12/15/2017.

Regular designer tickets will be available 12/16/2017 - 02/01/2018.

Prototype Library Submission tickets available 10/30/2017 - 02/01/2018.

Games for the library must be received by us by 02/15/2018. No print & plays allowed. Games will not be returned.  ​

Q: If I'm a designer who would like to have my game tested, but cannot attend, is there an option for me? ​

A: Yes! We have implemented the Prototype Library, which allows designers who cannot attend, to submit and send in games to be playtested at the con. These games will be played by our team, and also available to be checked out during the open playtesting times. However, there is no guarantee that the game will be checked out for play at the time of the convention.  ​

Q: Do I have to pre-register my game (for attending and non-attending designers)? ​

A: Yes. There is a special form to fill out, that will provide us with all of the information on your game. This also helps us pick a playtesting session to put you in. You can fill out that form here. 

Q: What is the deadline for game registration?

A: The deadline for game registration is 02/01/2018.

Q: Is Expedition Prototype Con only for designers?

​A: No! The con welcomes both designers and playtesters alike. We encourage all designers to playtest as well.  ​

Q: What is the minimum age for a playtester ticket?  ​

A: Playtester tickets are available for children age 8 and up, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. ​
