The DoubleTree is excited to host the Dice Tower Retreat and looks forward to welcoming you!! Our 2021 Retreat veterans will have the first opportunity to book hotel rooms and following is our registration schedule:
- February 23, 2022 at noon EST — 2021 MIAMI Retreat attendees can register
- March 9, 2022 at noon EST — 2021 ORLANDO Retreat attendees can register
- March 23, 2022 at noon EST — everyone can register
SUITE RATES & POLICIES
We have negotiated the following room rates for DT Retreat attendees:
- Standard Double-Bed Rooms -- $124/night plus tax
- Standard King-Bed Rooms -- $124/night plus tax
These are the same room rates that we had for 2021 and they are good for 3 days pre- and 3 days post-con. To get these special rates, you must reserve your room through the hotel link above and your reservation must be for at least 2 nights. It is possible to book a reservation for just 1 night, but you will be charged a higher rate that is set by the hotel. Rates are based on single/double occupancy and additional adults (up to 4 in a room) will be charged $15.00/night per person plus tax. Check-in time is 4PM and check-out time is 12PM.
If the dates or room types that you're looking for aren't showing as available on the booking link, you can contact the DoubleTree at 305-261-3800 or toll free at 1-888-353-1995 and they'll help you book, pending availability.
ROOM UPGRADES & SPECIAL REQUESTS -- If you want to upgrade to a deluxe room or suite or have a special request, you will need to contact the hotel with group code “DTW” by phone directly at 305-261-3800 or toll free at 1-888-353-1995, by faxing your reservation form at 305-260-8900 or via email at miama_res@hilton.com.
MICROWAVES & REFRIGERATORS -- Microwaves and refrigerators are available in the suite rooms. If you’ve booked a standard room, they are complimentary pending availability, but you have to request them either at check-in or contact the hotel directly to request them.
CANCELLATION POLICY -- Reservations cancelled within 72 hours prior to the planned arrival date and no-shows will be charged one night's room and tax.
IMPORTANT!! — Hey folks, Tom Vasel here! We really appreciate everyone booking hotel rooms through the DoubleTree's booking link! This helps us meet our contracted room block commitment with the hotel, which, in turn, helps us with the rate for our convention space. If we don’t have people stay at the hotel, we simply can’t get the space. We also encourage you to avoid booking through third-party vendors, for as tempting as their offer may appear, it usually comes with many strings and added fees attached. We appreciate everyone supporting the Dice Tower by staying at the DoubleTree and if you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail Sharon at dte@dicetower.com.
AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE -- For those of you flying to DTR, the DoubleTree offers complimentary airport shuttle service and more information on that can be found by clicking on this link. Shuttles run from 6 am to 10:30 pm every half hour and pick up at the designated locations in the link, depending on which terminal you arrive in. Just look for the white van with the chocolate chip cookie on the side. If the shuttle isn't coming on schedule, you can call the hotel's main number at 305-261-3800 and request a pick-up.
If you are arriving outside of these hours, you will have to arrange for your own transportation to the DoubleTree.
HOTEL PARKING -- If you are driving to DTR, the parking company that operates the lot across the street from the DoubleTree is offering our group 4-, 5- and 6-day parking passes for $35, $45 and $55, respectively. All passes include unlimited in-and-out privileges and can be purchased by both hotel guests and those driving to the convention. The daily rate is $10/day and if you need additional days, they can be added to your passes.
Those of you not staying at the hotel can pay a reduced rate of $7 to park, however this rate is PER ENTRANCE to the lot and DOES NOT include in-and-out privileges.
To take advantage of these parking passes and reduced rates, tell the parking attendant that you are with the Dice Tower Retreat and which parking option you would like.
Unfortunately, there is no free parking at the hotel -- sorry!
