Badge Types

NOTE: No badges will be sold on site.

Badges and wristbands MUST be worn in all convention spaces. They are required for access to all meeting spaces assigned to our convention (i.e. Library access, Exhibit Hall access, etc.) and for overall security of our events.

Purchase of badges requires acknowledgement of all Policies.

Attendee - Military $75 Access to the Library, Exhibit Hall, access to scheduled events and access to all gaming areas Recognition of branch of military service
Gamers-in-Training $60 Access to the Library, Exhibit Hall, access to scheduled events and access to all gaming areas Specifically for our younger attendees (age 4-12). Adult supervision is required and emergency contact info required on registration. At no time will BoardGameGeek or Team Geek take responsibility for your children - there is no babysitting service provided.
Press Badge $90 Attendee Access, plus Exhibit Hall access on Setup/Media Day (Thursday) Requires verified Media credentials
Exhibitor Badge $90 Attendee Access, plus Exhibit Hall access on Setup/Media Day (Wednesday/Thursday)

Children - age 0-3 - no badge required, but MUST remain in the presence of parent(s)/authorized guardian(s). At no time will BoardGameGeek or Team Geek take responsibility for your children of any age - there is no babysitting service provided.


Badge vs. Ticket

Note that tickets are free for all events at BGG conventions. Though the TTE system may say "Buy Tickets" in various places, it really means "reserve"/"get" - it won't cost you anything over or above the badge purchase.

Badges/Tickets for friends You are allowed to purchase badges for you and your friends on your TTE account. Please review the Friend system for purchasing and giving badges and tickets to your friends.

If your friends do not have TTE accounts, you will need to "buy" any tickets for attendee scheduled games for them, and they will not be able to sign up through the TTE system to volunteer in the library.


Badge Changes & Refunds

Badge Changes (Name changes/updates) must be completed by April 20, 2025. Badges purchased after that deadline that need changes may be redirected to the "Issues/Information Desk" at convention registration.

Refunds for badges purchased on TTE can be refunded the full amount minus any associated fees (payment processing and TTE support) up until May 21, 2025. See HERE for refund instructions.

Because badges can become available at anytime due to refunds we will no longer manage an official waitlist.

REFUND DEADLINE: May 21, 2025 - Badges purchased after this date are non-refundable.
