Inviting ALL Library Volunteers

We looked at the calendar and 5 weeks from today we will be enjoying beginning the battle of the Kaiju named "OPENING DAY". Can't wait!!!

Some of the BGG Staff just got back from Germany attending Spiel 2024 working on the collection of the latest and greatest to add to the BGG Library. Be watching the BGG Library Collection over the next month to watch for the changes and additions.

Library Volunteers Requested

And speaking of the Library, as always, we love inviting our attendees to help with the convention in a way that helps us the most! The BGG library has been inventoried, barcoded and cleaned up and will be added to shortly. And now it is looking for not only players, but lots of library volunteers to help with the enjoyment and care of SO MANY GAMES!!!.

Applications are now open - We are looking for LOTS of Library volunteers.

Applications for Library Volunteers have been revamped as well. Instructions for Volunteering can be found HERE and HERE.

Simplified instructions can be seen below:

Online application to Volunteer in the Library is a 3 step process:

  1. Have a purchased badge tied to your Tabletop.Events Account.
  2. Fill out and Submit application. Upon approval....
  3. Follow the link in your approval email or Go to your application and Choose Shifts. Click Volunteer next to the shifts you are wanting and then click Submit at the bottom of the page.

You will not be able to choose shifts that have already been claimed by others.

You are not able to sign up for shifts for other individuals whose badges are tied to your account. Those individuals will either need to have their badge tied to their own Tabletop.Events account (See Tabletop.Events Friends) or sign up on-site (see below).

If you need to make changes to your shift schedule - Email events@boardgamegeek.com.

Volunteering ON-SITE is a two Step process:
