Meet New Friends
One of the wonderful things about games is how great they are to help you meet people and make friends. However many people come to the con with their established buddies and rarely get a chance to sit down with strangers and try playing with a new group. This is a new organized event where you will meet and play with totally new people in a "speed-gaming" style of format. Everyone must bring a game they enjoy that works for up to 4 players and that lasts approximately 30 mins, and should be ready to teach and play it. Players will be assigned to a table with 3 other random people they don't know and if you come with friends we recommend that you split up and join different tables. There will be 4 game sessions. Each session people will introduce themselves, one person at the table teaches their game and then at the end of 45 minutes everyone stops, moves tables and does it again with another random group. Hopefully at the end of the event you will have made 12 new friends.
