Badge Types

Badges and wristbands MUST be worn in all convention spaces. They are required for Library access, Exhibit Hall access and for overall security of our events.

Special NOTE: No badges will be sold on site.

• Attendee Badge: $150. Available to attendees age 13+. (Those aged 13-17 require onsite adult supervision and emergency contact info.) Access to the Library, Exhibit Hall, access to scheduled events and access to all gaming areas.
• Premium Badge: $400. Includes Attendee badge access plus:
  • a guaranteed hotel reservation for a single room (you still pay for the room)
  • a complimentary convention t-shirt
  • a library game reserved for you until the early afternoon of opening day
  • opportunity to purchase a +1 badge
  • early/expedited onsite registration for you and your companion
  • priority in purchasing a Premium badge in the following year

Note: instructions for how to purchase your companion's badge will be in your badge confirmation email - you must purchase your premium badge first and checkout, then follow the instructions you will receive in your premium badge confirmation email.

• Press Badge: $150. Includes Attendee badge access plus the name of media outlet required and printed on the badge. Also includes access to the Exhibit Hall on Setup/Media Day (Wednesday).
• Exhibitor Badge: $150. Includes Attendee badge access plus Early access to the Exhibit Hall for booth setup and staffing.

Children

BGG.CON has a minimum age of 13 years old. Children under that age, including infants, are not allowed in the meeting spaces.

Badge vs. Ticket

• A badge is what gets you into the convention and all events are open to anyone that has a badge and wristband.
• A ticket is a seat at the table for specific game or event. This will generally be used for Attendee Scheduled Games, or events in which there is a limited seating (i.e. Poker Tournament).

Note that Tickets are free for all events at BGG conventions. Though the TTE system may say "Buy Tickets" in various places, it really means "reserve"/"get" - it won't cost you anything over or above the Badge purchase.

Badges/Tickets for friends You are allowed to purchase badges for you and your friends on your TTE account. Please review the Friend system for purchasing and giving badges and tickets to your friends.

Please note: If your friends do not have TTE accounts, you will need to "buy" any tickets for attendee scheduled games for them and they will not be able to sign up through the TTE system to volunteer in the library.

Badge Transfers

Badges are non-sharable. They are fully transferable via the Friend system. Please note the Badge Edit Deadline - October 31, 2023. Badges transferred to anyone after this deadline, will need to see the Registration Desk upon arrival to get the badge name reprinted.

NO Day-Passes

No Day-Pass badges are available. The registration fee is the same whether you come for one day or the whole convention. Special NOTE: No badges will be sold on-site.

Badge Waiting List

Because badges can become available at anytime from refunds we will no longer manage an official waitlist.

Tickets Required/Optional

Badges and wristbands are required to enter the convention, play in the open gaming area, borrow games from the BGG Library, visit the Exhibit Hall. Tickets are only required for reserving your seat at the table for specific games or events with limited seating.

Make note of the following designations:

• "Age Range" - Check the age range for the event before signing up
• "Experience Level" - Check the the experience level requirement before signing up

Ticket Notification List

Everyone on the notification list for an event will be notified via email when a Ticket becomes available for the event. There is no ordering/priority or automatic granting of tickets. When notified, the attendee that gets the ticket through the cart process first gets the ticket.

Refunds

Refunds for badges purchased on TTE can be refunded the full amount minus any associated fees (payment processing and TTE support) up until November 12. See HERE for refund instructions. Because badges can become available at anytime due to refunds we will no longer manage an official waitlist.
