The Investigators travel to the isolated town of Blackwater Creek in rural Massachusetts to investigate the disappearance of an archaeological professor from Miskatonic University, only to discover that something sinister is taking over both the town and the wilderness around it.

This event is past the point where ticket sales are permitted.Just over four months ago, Doctor Henry Roades, associate professor of archaeology at Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts, led a small expedition, mostly made up of graduate students, to a site just outside Blackwater Creek. Based on extensive research, he believed that the site was the location of Cade’s Rest, which he knew to be an early colonial settlement in the Miskatonic Valley that had failed for unknown reasons, becoming the source of a number of local legends. Roades hoped to find evidence that would allow him to uncover the settlement’s true history. What he found was much more strange than he had first anticipated.
Call of Cthulhu is a role-playing game of mystery, horror, and investigation. This scenario takes place in the classic 1920s ("Lovecraft Country") setting and will use the 7th edition rules set. Blackwater Creek is intended for both novice as well as experienced Investigators. Five pre-generated characters are provided for players.
