Seven years ago, a Calencian fisherman named Frakki dredged up a metal case containing a green-glowing amphora. He intended to give the piece to his wife, so he asked his older brother Leifr, a canoe carver, to keep it safe. But Frakki’s other older brother, Lodinn, discovered the amphora in Leifr’s house, and was enamoured of the piece, so he took it. Later that evening, following a brief confrontation between the brothers, Frakki got his amphora back. That night, Lodinn stabbed Frakki to death and fled into the forest with the glowing amphora. It is said that he has since lived the life of a wild man; some suggest he is more beast than man nowadays. An eccentric, crippled sorcerer from Khromarium has recently taken an interest in the enchanted amphora, and he has contracted your party to recover it.
