Dark Age of Man the role-playing game by Candlelight Games, LLC Presented by the Co-Author and Co-designer, Del Branham Dark Age of Man, DAoM, is set in a fictional dark age England, imagine a world where vikings raid the coast and dragons circle the King's castle. DAoM is an easy to play, easy to learn role-playing game. A role-playing game that allows players to be a landed nobleman, or a lowly peasant outlaw, or a merchant from Lundon, a game warden, a blacksmith with a family, or even the heir apparent Princess. Unique to DAoM is true player agency. Players have a greater role in shaping the world narrative as their characters engage the setting. The game requires only the use a single d12 and characters with 9 Attributes. DAoM features a social class Prestige system which allows the players to easily role-play as characters in a world faced with issues and or problems to solve. A simple die roll is used to resolve conflicts and actions. All players are welcome to sit with us and try this new game. Players with any level of experience can enjoy DAoM. Whether one is new to the hobby, just wants to try a role-playing game for the first time, or is a long time veteran, all can enjoy DAoM.
