D&D 5e level 1 One shot (Polyhedrooze - Helianas Guide)

This one shot will be played with pregen characters. Years ago, the fearsome dragon Tuckerthranx the Red made his home in a mountain's caldera, served by kobolds, until adventurers slew him, collapsing the mountain. The dragon's lair, sustained by magic, teleported to the Maphrok jungle and lay dormant until Dr. Francis Norman Stein, a biomancer, turned it into his laboratory. His experiments with a mutagen, Mut-x, created dangerous polyhedroozes that absorbed the greed of the dragon. After local gnomes, elves, and lizardfolk drove Dr. Stein out, the lair was discovered by the goblin Frockit clan, who intended to sell it as a dungeon. Their current client, a mysterious figure known only as Murdob’norab, is prepared to purchase a fully kitted-out dungeon. One of the clan’s first tasks was to create a secure vault and transfer all the client’s treasure there. However, en route to delivering the treasure, the goblins were ambushed by a colossal ooze. The Frockit Clan now seeks adventurers to retrieve the treasure, insisting that "Goblins are people too!" despite the suspicions aroused by the unusual quest.
