RiverCityCon 2027 Tabletop Gaming Convention

A note from the RiverCityCon directors Our team brings years of experience running successful conventions, and we're committed to making RiverCityCon an outstanding event. That said, we want to be transparent about a few things outside our control.

Facility: We cannot be held responsible for errors made by the convention facility, power, or infrastructure issues at the venue.

Weather: Severe weather can affect travel, attendance, and operations in ways entirely outside our control — and we won't always have advance warning. We appreciate your understanding that some circumstances are simply beyond anyone's control.

Growing Pains: As we move into a new, larger space for the first time, we expect a few minor hiccups along the way. We are a well-organized team, but no event of this size is perfect on day one. Your patience is appreciated.

Events & Guests: If a GM, event leader, or special guest is unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, we will do our best to find a suitable alternative — though some individuals simply cannot be replaced on short notice.

Photography: Throughout the convention, our team captures photos and video to help showcase the community that makes RiverCityCon special. These images may be used in future promotions, including our Facebook page, website, advertising materials, and other marketing for upcoming events. By attending, you consent to the possibility of appearing in this content. If you'd rather not be photographed, just let the photographer know.

Personal Belongings: RiverCityCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal games or property. Always keep an eye on your belongings.

Event Capacity: We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of events rather than running the same event repeatedly. Popular events may fill quickly — if that happens early in the weekend, we'll do our best to add additional sessions.

Illness & Refunds: If you're feeling unwell, please stay home — we mean it, and we appreciate it. Badges will be refunded in cases of illness. Outside of illness, we can only provide refunds up to one month before the event. Our expenses — venue rental, staff accommodation, games, advertising, taxes, and equipment — must be covered regardless of attendance.

RiverCityCon builds on a track record of success: our team has run LexiCon Tabletop and Board Gaming Convention, a sister event, for twelve years, alongside three years of RiverCityCon. Barring a major unforeseen disaster, we fully expect RiverCityCon 2027 to be our best event yet. We can't wait to see you there!
