Hot on the trail of a kidnapped princess you emerge after many battles into the daylight of a cemetary. Leaving the large underground masoleum that hosted your almost successful boss fight against the hideous wolf-were "Pack" where you missed rescuing the princess by mere moments, you contemplate your next move. The escape tunnel used by the wolf-were high priest and his captive, the princess, leads south, and only one landmark worthy of note lies to the south: the rotting pile of crumbling masonry known to the locals as Castle Wolfmoon. Should you rest? Re-learn spells and prayers? Cure up wounded party members? If you hurry, you should arrive at the castle just as the sun is setting as it lies about 20 km to the south... but arriving at sundown might not be the best idea either. Chapter three of the Castle Wolfmoon campaign that was, in part, co-written by Gary Gygax (although this adventure portion is entirely mine). Pre-generated characters provided, and I do have some house rules that I will announce at the table (nothing fancy, fear not). I always have more pregens than players, so don't worry that you'll get 'stuck' with a bad character. This one is about 40% hack-n-slash, 60% intellect, so bring your "A" game. :D 3D encounter area mockups and minis used! Pics to follow as the terrain is completed.
