Game design workshop: from idea to prototype
Game design—we do it not because it's easy, but because we *thought* it would be easy…
So you've got a cool game idea, what next? How do you take your seed of an idea and grow it into a tree that bears fruit? In this talk, habitual GM and compulsive game designer Aaron H. (creator of Robot Hospital, member of the Stillfleet Studio) will dive into the process of materializing your idea–seed for a game into something that you can start iterating on, using practical (and cheap!) methods to prototype and playtest your ideas, and planting those idea seeds, cultivating them, and watching them grow.
