We at Opportunity Attacks want to make sure that we have an event that is fun and safe for everyone. We have an Attendance/Code of Conduct page that all attendees and volunteers must follow.

About Us
In 2017 we started running D&D Adventurers League game days at Fair Game in Downtown Downers Grove. After several events it was apparent that we needed more room as the store space had gotten small for our growing group of players. We mulled around the idea of having a game day or convention the following year.
We took the opportunity to expand our horizons and jumped at the chance to do something on our own. We had numerous starts and stops and other hiccups along the way but eventually we managed to get a date in the summer of 2018 and the rest is history.
2019 saw record heat for the summer and the slogan days before the con was "Stay cool with us!" Well it was hot both in and out of the conventions location thanks to the venues AC malfunction. Despite the heat everyone had a great show with an increase in attendance over the first year and many more events run along with several new players to Adventurers League. We saw a new vendor/artist added and the release of our first CCC adventure.
2020 saw the global pandemic hit the world stage and Covid19 sidelined all in-person gaming events. We postponed a few times that year and eventually pushed back our third show until July of 2021. Now as the state of Illinois is beginning to reopen Opportunity Attacks is Rising from the ashes in 2021. A horrible year has started to show signs of new life and like the phoenix of legend we are Rising from the Ashes to have a safe and fun weekend this July!
