Gamemaster Event Submission Guidelines
THANK YOU for committing to host a game or event at MythicCon West 2025! MythicCon would not exist if it weren't for incredible volunteer GMs like YOU!
Changes to events must be submitted no later than the event submission deadline of Friday, February 21st, 2025. If you need to cancel your submission after that date, please email gaming@gamesforallevents.com, however, changes after the deadline are discouraged.
GM Perks
If you plan to GM, you do not need to purchase a badge for the convention. You will be contacted by the gaming organizer once your submissions have been accepted. If you have already purchased a badge, please email gaming@gamesforallevents.com for a refund.
GMs who commit to at least 12 hours of game sessions during the convention get FREE ADMISSION to MythicCon and a special "GameMaster" badge with access to early game registration.
Part time GMs get a discount code for their "Mythic Con Full Access" badge:
< 6 hours: $12 off!
6-10 hours: $25 off!
Note: The "Mythic Con Full Access" badge does not have access to early game registration, so if you want all the benefits of being a GameMaster, go full-time!
GM Event Submission Guidelines
GMs have the option to run events as a bystander or play in their own event. When creating your event, please remember to select the "Will event hosts also play the game?" option applicable to your preference. If you opted to leave all slots open for players and your event sells out, you will be required to participate as a GM only.
Please include as much information about your event as possible. Please try to include:
- Use your event name to communicate the name of the game system as well as the scenario name. (Example: "Savage Worlds: Betrayal at Farpoint Station")
- Where applicable, include links that provide a detailed description of the game and/or teach the rules of the game. This is especially helpful if it is an obscure or homebrew game. (Examples: Product home page, "Watch it Played" videos on YouTube, BoardGameGeek page for the game.)
- Special space requirements, player preferences or requirements, etc.
- When planning your games, please be mindful of our standard 4 hour slot schedule (see below). Although you are not limited to that schedule, be mindful of your timing so that you do not unintentionally make it difficult for your players to attend other events. Our gaming coordinator will do their best to accommodate your preferred schedule or may suggest alternatives if scheduling your event becomes difficult.

MythicCon GM Code of Conduct
The primary focus of this convention is to: Have Fun, Try new things, Learn, Share, Grow and Play. Please help your players feel welcome, be safe, and have fun!
As a GM, you agree to abide by the following rules:
- Please arrive to your session up to 10 minutes early to set up. If you must be late for any reason, please reach out to the Gaming Coordinator before your scheduled session.
- Tidy your event space after your session and vacate at least 10 minutes in advance of the next session so the next GM can set up.
- Make sure you know the rules for your game. Do not try to read and learn the rules as you are trying to teach it. Be prepared to teach players who are new to the game how to play.
- RPGs: Be prepared for your session! Please have pre-generated characters for your players. Please do not have the players create characters at the table!
- All pre-registered players are issued virtual tickets for your game through Tabletop.events and show up on the event schedule. If there is an issue where you have too many people, verify the names of the pre-registered players against your schedule on Tabletop.events.
Feel free to bring any disputes to gaming registration.
