Why did we change the name?

Jeff Smith, the founder of MACE, requested that MACE end after he was gone. In respect to his and Karen’s wishes, we have founded Mythic Con.

What’s Mythic Con?

Mythic Con is our largest gaming convention that happens in Charlotte, NC in the fall. Mythic Con features a variety tabletop games including board games, roleplaying games, miniature games, card games, LARPS, crafting, and on occasion video games.

What’s Mythic Con West?

Mythic Con West is our gaming convention that happens in Asheville, NC in the spring. Mythic Con West features a variety tabletop games including board games, roleplaying games, miniature games, and card games.

I want to attend a Mythic Con event. How do I do that?

All our registration takes place on Tabletop.Events. (Unless the event states otherwise.)

You will need to create an account at TTE. Easiest way to find us is to search for Mythic Con. Select the event you wish to attend.

We offer three different ways to attend:

Attendee - Attendees intend on simply playing games and taking full advantage of the fun we have to offer.
Volunteer - Volunteers are usually Game Masters, Tournament Directors, Event Coordinators, Story Tellers, or teaching crafting classes (Charlotte event only). These badges are either complimentary or prorated and assigned by the game coordinator team.
Vendors – Vendors are the exhibitors who are selling items at the Mythic Con Event. These complimentary badges are assigned by the vendor team.

We may have other opportunities for volunteering depending on the event (Game Registration, Game Library or Kid\'s Program at some events).
