You are on a desperate flight trying to outpace the apocalypse surging across the universe. It's already too late. Ever since The Six unleased the cosmic horrors of THEY from the Primordial Mausoleum, all the terrible prophecies of the Book of Fauma have come to pass. The Six now spread the breath of THEY as a parasitic curse of würms that consume and convert all life into thralls known as THE GRIMM. The only escape is to run. Never. Stop. Running.
Rumor has it that, as the universe decays and rots, there is a tear in the fabric of reality that leads to somewhere else. Another universe? Another timeline? Anywhere is better than here. Fuel and resources are precious in the mad dash away from contagion and madness. So when you see the beacon alight on your screen you have a brief glimmer of hope. Perhaps there are other survivors that can help you. Or, worst case scenario, you can scavenge their supplies and buy yourself a little more time.
What is VAST GRIMM?
Vast Grimm is bleak, rules-light, infectious Sci-Fi Horror RPG about the few humans remaining in a universe being consumed by growing parasitic würms. This is a game about survival- no matter how gruesome things get, humanity must survive. Inspired by the mayhem and fury of Mörk Borg, Vast Grimm takes takes you to a crumbling universe where each miserable day that passes, the universe inches closer to its inevitable demise.
