These are ttrpg creators and publishers local to the KC area, and we are pleased to welcome them to Local Legends Gaming Weekend to show off their work. Rather than impersonal panels with canned questions, we want you to actually get to know them a bit. Play games with these folks, visit with them at their booths, and take home a piece of their hard work to play at your own tables.

I’m John, also known as “Mr. Biscuits,” or the “Concierge of Curses.” As the creator of BiscuitTinRPG, I’ve spent years exploring roleplaying systems like VTM, Rifts, Paranoia, Death in Space, Dungeons & Dragons, and even LARPing, indulging in the boundless worlds that roleplaying offers. What drew me to 5E was its potential—a system that could go beyond the basics, given the right nudge. That’s when I started crafting mechanics to push the boundaries of roleplay, adding my own unique flair to games.

And now i take that same drive and enthusiasm into new and exciting systems like Relict RPG.

Founded in 2015, Nerdhaus Games is a creator-driven studio for roleplaying and board games. My background in theatre leads me to explore story and character, while my love of design pushes me into innovative mechanics and novel structures. How we play is just as important as what we play. (And despite my reputation, I don't actually hate dice).

Whether it's one-page rpgs or LARPs, comedy games to serious examinations of loss, hope, and the burdens of power, our focus is the collaborative art of storytelling. We're here to help you Find Your Story.

Scruffy Sorcerer Games is the totally permanent name for games, art, and writing from Patrick Cullen. Works include the rules lite monster of the week TTRPG Moonlighters, and the fantasy weird west mashup TTRPG Twilight Riders. Extreme grilled cheese enthusiast.

Zen Goblin is an indie RPG anti-publisher fixated on chaotic game design and "back of your older brother's math notebook" artwork, most of which is offered under a creative commons license- to pass around like contraband! Late night one shots, lists of tables, and free sneak peeks of bigger projects, all home or locally printed.
