Local Legends Gaming Weekend (LLGW) is one of Cardboard Corner Cafe's and TableTop Game & Hobby's premier tabletop role-playing game (ttrpg) events!

What is LLGW?

Local Legends Gaming Weekend, or LLGW, is a weekend of Inspiration, Community, and Adventure. We want you to be inspired by the amazing ttrpg creators and publishers in our local Kansas City area--our Local Legends! We want you to celebrate being a part of our community and to meet new folks you may not normally play with. We want you to have adventures you've never had before, playing new games and new systems with experienced GMs who are excited to have you at their table.

What's the difference between LLGW and RPGW?

You will definitely notice some similarities! LLGW and RPGW are both ttrpg conventions hosted by Cardboard Corner Cafe and TableTop Game and Hobby. Both are focused on playing games and celebrating our community. LLGW is an opportunity to connect with local ttrpg creators and publishers, play their games, and take them home with you to play at your own tables. RPGW is a celebration of our community run completely by our house GMs. Both are excellent events for new and experienced players alike.

Please take a moment to review our convention policies. All attendees will be expected to follow these during the event. Acknowledgement of this is required before purchasing badges and tickets.

Badges

The price of your badge goes directly towards paying our GMs for their time and administrative needs that help run LLGW. All badges are subject to availability and only grant you access to LLGW 2026, be sure to still navigate to our Events page and register for games. Additionally, look forward to:

Games

At LLGW, your badge grants you access to an entire weekend of ttrpg gaming!

• 80+ ttrpg one-shot adventures run by local ttrpg Legends and experienced GMs
• Play games with local Legends that brought them to life
• Buy games from local Legends that brought them to life
• Each session is 3.5 hours; 3 sessions on Saturday with two 1-hour breaks, 2 sessions on Sunday with a 1-hour break
• A total of nearly 18 hours of adventuring
• One badge, no extra cost for games

Once you have your badge, head over to the Events section and "Like" games that sound fun to keep them on your short list. Seats for games open in March, and we'll send an update when they go live, so you can come back and sign up.

• Saturday games start at 9am, 1:30pm, and 6pm
