HIJINX 2026 GAMEMASTER INFORMATION

Event submissions will open on Monday, April 1st, 2026.

Events need to be submitted by June 17th, 2026.

Submissions after that date will only be accepted on an as-needed basis and there is no guarantee of a free Gamemaster badge. We encourage Gamemasters to submit games as soon as they are able, we will approve and schedule games as they come in and space will start to fill up quickly!

The gaming day will start at 9:00am. HiJinx will use a staggered start time scheduling system. This means that gaming events may begin on the hour, every hour, at the times indicated below. The minimum event length is two hours.

No events will start at 12p or 6p to allow for meal breaks. Games may continue through these times if they started at an earlier time.

* Events must end by 5:00pm.

Gamemasters that run at least a minimum total of 30 player hours* of gaming events will receive a free Gamemaster weekend badge. Examples of ways to get 30 player hours may include two, three hour sessions for five players or one, five hour session for six players. Any combination of sessions, player counts and length that equals 30 player hours will qualify.

*Gamemaster playing in a session do not count in the final calculation of player hours.

Player hours are calculated based on the manufacturer's suggested play time for the event.

Something to consider - If a game is designed to take two hours for four players, schedule the game for three hours to allow for teaching, set-up, etc.

HiJinx will offer a Premium Badge. There will be a limited number of Premium badges available. The Premium Badges will include:

A weekend badge
A merch bundle (the bundle includes a convention t-shirt, convention tote, and a Mayhem Water Bottle)
An exclusive to the Premium Merch Item, this year's item promises to be something you will really treasure (this item will not be available for sale as a regular merch item!)
72 hours of early access for game sign-ups

We will be offering a discounted Gamemaster Premium Upgrade option that will convert your complimentary Gamemaster Badge to a Premium Gamemaster Badge. Once you are issued a Gamemaster Badge, and after merch sales are open (May 17th), you will be able to purchase the upgrade.
