• • Adults and Children age 8 and up require a paid badge (see 'At the Door' for 'Family Wristbands';
• • Children age 14 and under must be accompanied at all gaming tables by a responsible adult and have a wristband or badge with the parent's phone number.

• • Friday and Monday $15 per day. Saturday and Sunday $20 per day. All Gaming Access ($50 for a weekend badge)
• • Auction Only - No badge required to buy or sell in the auction.

HexaCon Auction Information for Sellers

• This auction's lot fee is 50¢ per lot and the convention's commission is 15% of total sales. The minimum starting bid for any lot is $1.
• This auction welcomes board games and any gaming-adjacent merchandise. We are open to a wide variety of fandoms and hobby gaming interests, but we may not accept your items if they aren't a good fit for our auction or if their condition is unusually poor.
• You must begin seller registration at least 30 minutes before the start of the auction.
• You must write out your own seller sheet and lot slips. We will provide some assistance to get you started, but please note we cannot complete the paperwork on your behalf.
• Please thoughtfully consider bundling together "lots" of several items. Good lot bundle might be: a base game and its expansions, several games that share the same theme, games geared toward the same audience, or games that the same person is likely to enjoy. This means you will pay less in lot fees to list more items!
• When writing out your lot slips, please include a brief description to help us sell your game. We don't know all the board games, so even three words about where the fun is will help. Additionally, we appreciate honest disclosures about the game's condition. Let us know of any missing/damaged parts/pieces so the bidder has full knowledge of what they're going to get.
• We hope to wrap up the auction before 10:00 pm. However, we can never know how many lots we will have. If today's auction runs late, we will likely increase the lot fee next year to encourage more bundling.
• You will receive your payment via check.
• Please note that when reconciling payments after the auction is over, we generally will check out the buyers first and the sellers second. We thank you for your patience as we handle each transition with care.

HexaCon Auction Buyers: How To Play

• See the information table to fill out a buyer sheet and obtain your bidder number.
• To bid, hold your bidder number up continuously. Lowering your number signifies that you no longer wish to bid. The auctioneer will increase the bid in full-dollar increments until only one bidder is holding their number up. That bidder is the winner!
• You are not obligated to bid on anything, but we do hope you end up winning something joyful. Most importantly, have fun!
• We thank you for taking your side conversations outside, as some of us are hard of hearing and struggle to run the auction effectively when there is background chatter.
• Buyer beware: you are purchasing as-is items. We don't inventory parts or pieces, so it is possible for a used game to be incomplete or damaged. Sellers generally disclose this kind of information when they are aware of it, but full knowledge of an item's condition is never guaranteed.
• Please note that any bid on an item is a commitment to buy it. Make sure to pay and collect your items at the information table when the auction is over.
• We accept the following methods of payment: Cash, Credit Card, or PayPal.
• Our auctioneers and auction team are not professionals. We're just volunteers who enjoy board games. Thank you for being patient with us.
• We ask that if you are going to pay with credit card please wait till the end of the auction.
• If paying with cash you may "pay off your tab" at any time and take your items. However, it is easiest for us if you wait till the end of the auction. Thank you.

PS - Please don’t remove the sticker on the back of your bidder number, the reverse side of the cards have the numbers reversed on the back.
