Bolt Action Tournament “War in the Rockies “ 2026 Tournament Rules Official Bolt Action Colorado Championship Tournament Genghiscon (Aurora, Colorado) Saturday 21 February 2026, 0815 Start Registration . Tournament starts 900 runs to approx 1830

Max 1000/14 order dice

Required items • Bolt Action rulebook (3rd edition) and Minor Nation PDF. We will also be using the most current Errata/FAQ. You can find these on Warlord site and on the Easy Army site. • There is a minimum 3 color painting requirement this year. Bases must be painted or flocked (terrain) No Exceptions • Dice, tape measure, pin markers, templates and order dice • 5 copies of your army list, clearly readable. 3 for opponents, 1 for you, and 1 for me. If you don’t have enough miniatures to make your a 1,000 point Army , contact me, I have 8 complete Armies. I will be glad to lend what you need to use in the actual Tournament. 

Suggested items: Latest version of the errata/FAQ. Counters, smoke markers, etc. A quick reference sheet. Contact me at sgted_2000@yahoo.com and I will Email the most current Reference Sheet . A tray to put your army on so you can move table to table 
Additional Rules: 3 rounds 2 hours and 15 minutes each (There will be time before each round to look at the scenario , discuss armies/terrain with you opponent, etc)
Army selection: Armies to be chosen from Version 3 Bolt Action rule book, the Minor Nation List (PDF) and the new Version 3 Armies of Germany, US, Soviet Union books Your list must have the mandatory Infantry Platoon (Platoon Leader and 2 Units) , and only 1 platoon of Heavy Weapons, Engineers, Artillery, Armored, and Recce. The only platoon you can purchase twice is another Infantry. (Other words you can have a total of 2 Infantry Platoons). Remember every platoon has leader. All HQs unit weapons need to be purchased. (Example SMG 4 points, assault gun 6 points). This would be for your Platoon Leaders and their additional soldiers, Forward Observers ,Political officers, etc. Unit limitations: Max 1 Missile/Rocket systems Max 2 Flame throwers on the table Max 1 Forward observer (artillery and air)

We recommend you build your list on Warlord Army list App . If the list is too cheesy, exploitive, or unsporting you may be asked to submitt A new list . Lists need to be submitted by “14 Feb 2025”to me at: sgted_2000@yahoo.com Please get the list in on time.

Game scoring: Win 20 points Draw 10 points Loss 5 points You will need to keep track of all your opponents order dice they loss playing against you ( Even if that’s not a requirement of the scenario). If there is a tie , we will add up total order dice received (Continued)
