CASUAL DOUBLES EVENT.

  • Each player will be playing 1,000-point armies.

  • Each player will be paired with a new random teammate each round!

  • Models in your teammate's army will count as friendly but can never benefit from any rules that require any keywords even if they happen to share them.

  • We will be using the most recent matched play rules with the following exceptions:

    • Players will be scored individually each round.

    • The total team score will determine which team wins the game.

  • The mission scoring will be done as follow each round:

    • That player's army killed one or more enemy units. +3

    • That player's combined team killed more enemy units than the enemy team did of their units for the round. +3

    • Turns 2-5 (on final round 2nd player scores at end of turn instead of command phase).

    • That player controls one or more Objectives during the start of their command phase. +5

    • That player's team controls more total objectives than the enemy team's total controlled objectives. +5

    • This is a total of a possible 30 and 40 points, totaling 70.

    • +10 points if army is battle ready (fully based and paint to at least a basic tabletop standard).

    • +20 points. Each player will have a list of special specific team-oriented objectives that they can earn during the game.

We will have prizes for best general, best opponent, best hobbyist and best teammate.

This event is open to any interested experienced players. We will be playing 10th edition games. Encouraging experienced players only. A minimum of 9th edition experience required.

Just a couple reminders to everyone on what is expected of all players at the event.

  1. Bring everything you need to play, models, rulebooks (this includes core rules, codex, extra content and the newest season book), tape measures, and all necessary dice.

  2. Everyone should have a hardcopy of their list for themselves and one or their opponents.

  3. Bring a good attitude, come hoping to win but also ready to lose. Good sportsmanship is key to this event being a friendly, and fun environment. Please be humble when you win and not bitter when you lose. If you didn't value the style of army that your opponent brought, you have a chance to reflect that in your own sportsmanship vote at the end.

  4. We are trying to grow our community so please be good ambassadors of this hobby that we all love so much. Try things like offering handshakes or wishing your opponent good luck. If dice don't go your way, try to roll with the punches and make the best if a bad situation. Remember, visiting players and those observing games decide if they want to play next time based on what they observe and the words they hear this time.

  5. HAVE FUN!!
