How does this work?

• Volunteers automatically receive a 100% badge rebate!
• GMs who run at least 33 attendee hours of board game, RPG, seminar, or other non-MTG sessions receive a 100% badge rebate! Badges are rebated within 48 hours after FLAG Con 2024 closes.

What are some examples?

• Example 1: You run a four-hour (h) board game event for three other attendees (a) on Friday. That's 12 attendee hours (ah) (3a x 4h = 12ah). You do the same on Saturday; 12 more hours. You run a two-hour event for five other attendees on Sunday. That's 10 player hours (5a x 2h = 10ah). You've run 34 total attendee hours at FLAG Con 2024. Congrats, you get a 100% badge rebate!
• Example 2: You run Blood on the Clocktower for 13 other attendees for four hours on Saturday. That's 52 attendee hours (13a x 4h = 52ah). Congrats, you get a 100% badge rebate!
• Example 3: You host a one-hour seminar on board game design. 20 attendees attend. That's 20 attendee hours (20a x 1h = 20ah). You also run one three-hour session of Pathfinder for five other attendees. That's 15 attendee hours (5a x 3h = 15ah). You've run 35 total attendee hours at FLAG Con 2024. Congrats, you get a 100% badge rebate!

What if attendees drop or add at the last minute?

• If your events prefill to at least 33 attendee hours, but an attendee no-show brings the player hour count below 33 hours, no worries; you earn the rebate.
• If your events don't prefill to at least 33 attendee hours, but you get enough walk-in traffic to accrue 33 attendee hours, that's great; you earn the rebate.

What if I quality for the rebate 'on paper', but at the con, my events run a little short re: duration (i.e. my 4-hour RPG session wraps up in 3h15m)?

No worries, you earn the rebate!

What if I run an event spontaneously, without pre-submitting the event?

Cool! This is open gaming, which we welcome at FLAG Con 2024. However, our rebate recognizes pre-submitted events only. Having a roster of great pre-submitted events is critical to attracting guests to FLAG Con 2024. Therefore, any open gaming you do wouldn't count toward your 33 player hours.

Discounts

For our Opening Day Sale on 6/29, FLAG Con veterans will receive a discount for each FLAG Con newcomer they refer.
