Why EGG CON III?

Besides celebrating Gary Gygax Day in Lake Geneva, the city where it all started, there are many great things about EGG CON!

1. FOOD! Check out the map below! In a one block radius around the venue there are 12 Restaurants and two additional bars. From McDs' to fine dining - there is sometthing for every budget. Within 6/10ths of a mile you will find an additional 20+ restaurants. Walking distance!

2. LODGING! Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva and The Cove of Lake Geneva have a wide variety of room options. Most rooms can easily be shared by 2 or more guests and some of the suite options at the Cove can sleep as many as 6, with living, dining rooms (gaming rooms?) and full kitchens. Other room blocks are being arranged and will be announced.

3. IT ISN'T COLD! Summer in Lake Geneva is lovely and has been referred to as the Newport of the West. Beautiful parks, spas, boat rides, shopping, beach and culture - all within view of beautiful Geneva Lake.

4. HISTORY! Lake Geneva is the home of Dungeons & Dragons, and there are many places of gaming significance to explore, such as 330 Center Street, Horticultural Hall, the Riviera Fountain tile, Lake Geneva Public Library's Appendix N exhibit and The Wizard of Lake Geneva at Geneva Lake Museum, among others.
